For example, our ECG machines are hand-held devices that electronically transmit readings direct to cardiac specialists – rather than large machines that produce paper based readings that need to be posted to consultants. Our technology ensures that analysis takes place after the screening at our laboratory and after remote cardiac specialists analyse electronically transmitted heart readings.

Full results reports are sent within 21 days of the screening. Where results warrant urgent feedback, we provide dedicated, confidential, and proactive support to customers who may need a referral. Our results report is considered to be one of the most detailed in the sector and we are able to tailor content to the requirements of clients. Results are also available online and through our mobile app.

Staff performance is regularly monitored, to ensure we are giving a first class customer experience. We also regularly undertake phlebotomy audits to ensure high standards of practice. We consistently beat our target of over 90% of customers rating us as good or excellent. All staff also undertake mandatory training related to Health and Safety, Protection of Vulnerable Adults, Fire, Infection Control, Moving and Handling, COSHH and Clinical Practice Observation.

We can provide a freephone number for your staff to book their appointment or they can book online. Once booked staff will receive an appointment pack, which includes specific details about the health screen.

Please ensure you check your availability before confirming the date of your Health Screen. We will always be pleased to rearrange appointment dates and times, however if you fail to attend on the day, we can’t guarantee being able to accommodate you on a future date.

The screening can include some tests affected by food. We therefore recommend for the most accurate readings staff don’t eat any food for at least 4 hours (8 ideally) before their appointment.

We advise to allow around 30 to 40 minutes for the appointment depending on your package, but rest assured our cardiac specialists and laboratory analysts undertake much further work after the initial assessment and sample collection. Once all the results are analysed the detailed results report is compiled and posted.
