    Your cholesterol test, also called lipid panel, measures all the types of cholesterol in your blood stream. Cholesterol is essential for the production of healthy cell membranes, hormones and bile acids.

    Your liver function test is a panel of five bloods tests which measure the levels of the liver enzymes ALT, AST, ALP and GGT, in addition to the liver waste product bilirubin.

  • Kidney function

    Your kidney function test is a panel of three bloods tests which measure the amount of sodium (salt) and two chemical waste products (urea and creatinine) in the blood.

  • Essential proteins and iron

    These blood tests measure a number of important proteins found in the blood that are necessary for healthy bodily function, and iron which is required for red blood cell production.

  • Bone health, energy and muscles

    This test looks at four key readings including calcium, corrected calcium, phosphate and uric acid (gout). Essential for healthy bones, muscle function, energy production and nerve function.

  • Full blood count

    This test measures the quantity of red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. Your blood count can give insight into several conditions including lymphoma, anaemia, infection and inflammation.

  • Thyroid function

    The thyroid is a small gland in the neck which produces thyroxine, a hormone essential in the regulation of your body’s metabolism. This test measures the amount of thyroid stimulating hormone and thyroxine in the blood.

  • Folate

    This test measures the quantity of folate in your blood serum. Folate (also known as folic acid or vitamin B9) is required for red blood cell formation, tissue and cellular repair, DNA synthesis and for nerve health.

  • Coeliac disease

    This test examines the level of transglutaminase antibody (tTG) in your blood. Coeliac disease is a common autoimmune condition in which gluten causes chronic inflammation of the small intestine.

  • Fatty acids

    This test looks at the levels of Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids in your blood. These are known as “healthy fats” as they can help to lower your cholesterol level.

    This test measures a protein called ferritin, which correlates directly with total body iron stores. Ferritin is more sensitive at recognising iron deficiency than simply measuring iron levels in the blood.

  • Vitamins

    Vitamin D – This test examines the level of vitamin D in your blood. Vitamin D is essential in the regulation of calcium and phosphate balance and plays an important role in keeping your bones and muscles healthy.

Cancer risk

Prostate cancer risk (PSA) – This simple test measures the PSA levels in your blood. Raised PSA levels are linked to an increased risk of prostate cancer. Suitable for over 40s only. Includes access to GP helpline. £59
