Helicobacter Pylori (H. Pylori)

Helicobacter Pylori is a common bacterial infection which can damage the protective lining of your stomach and small intestine. Around 10% of people with an H. Pylori infection will develop a peptic ulcer. H. Pylori is also a risk factor for certain types of stomach cancer. It is thought that around 40% of the population has an active H. Pylori infection.
