Frequently asked questions

  • Who are Bluecrest Wellness?

Bluecrest aims to help people like you take control of their health. We do this by empowering you with clear knowledge about your current health status. Bluecrest is a government recognised private provider for general COVID-19 testing.

  • How long do the tests take?

Both the PCR and Antibody tests usually take around 10 minutes to complete.

  • When will I receive my results?

Full results will be sent to you by email or SMS within 2 working days of the samples being received by the lab.

  • If I get a positive PCR result, what should I do?

If COVID-19 is detected, you and those you have recently been in contact with need to self-isolate for at least 14 days. Please always follow the latest NHS advice: ww.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19.

  • What proof of result will I receive?

Your results will include a summary of the test result (positive or not detected for the PCR test, negative or positive for the Antibody test), testing date, and test provider.

  • Am I jumping the queue for an NHS test?

Bluecrest are not affiliated with the NHS. All tests provided by Bluecrest are private and therefore your test will not be replacing any capacity of the NHS to provide tests.

Please note that PCR testing for people with symptoms should be provided free of charge by the NHS and we encourage those displaying symptoms to seek NHS testing in the first instance. These tests are primarily aimed at people who are ineligible for NHS PCR tests and/or people who are seeking the reassurance of an Antibody test.

  • How accurate is the testing process?
