Bluecrest Wellness has opened a new centre of excellence in the heart of London, offering customers in the capital a convenient location for a comfortable and smooth health assessment.

The newly refurbished Thanet House, on the Strand, is a 323 square foot space that includes private consultation areas, a phlebotomy suite for blood tests, and areas for biometrics, blood pressure, PAD and ECG tests.

Bluecrest health assessments aim to help people live and work health confident, with intelligence that allows them to understand their current health, any potential future health risks – and take action early. There are different packages available, which include things like cholesterol and thyroid readings, diabetes risk, liver and kidney function, heart health, musculoskeletal and mental health, and cancer risk.

Bluecrest Wellness aims to have a clinic within 20 minutes of its customers, and sets up pop-up clinics in places like hotels, community centres, and on site for corporate clients. But it also has 7 static venues in key areas across the UK - and Thanet House is a new centre of excellence. The new format, layout and design will be rolled out across the other sites in the coming months.

Chief Executive Dominque Kent explained: “We’re really proud to open Thanet House for customers as our first flagship centre, and we’re already booked solid for the next two months. The space has been specially designed for our assessment process, and with customer experience in mind. We want to make it as convenient and as relaxing as possible for people to take control of their health proactively.”

In 2023, Bluecrest delivered more than 150,000 health assessments at 2,500 clinics held in 450 different venues, and helped people spot issues early, get follow-up care, and make lifestyle changes. After an assessment, people get a detailed report with their results in a simple traffic light system with red, amber or green flags. After seeing the results, 40% of customers go on to lose weight, 37% plan to exercise more, 33% adopt a healthier diet, and 15% go on to drink less alcohol.
