What are home blood tests?

A home blood test consists of a finger-prick kit which can be done from comfort of your own home. You do not need to go to a clinic to do your test as you will be able to take your own blood sample yourself. You can do so by following the simple instructions in your pack and can even opt for a complimentary webcam session with a Virtual Health Coach to guide you through the sample-taking process step by step.

Whats included in the kit?

All of our home test kits contain the following:

  • a clear set of instructions
  • a sample collection tube containing saline solution
  • a protective packing wallet
  • a self-adhesive name label (for the sample tube)
  • a swab
  • a laboratory test order form to complete
  • a pre-paid, self-adhesive Royal mail tracked service label and a pre-addressed envelope.

How do I receive my results?

You will receive your results within 8 days of laboratory analysis. You will be able to access these through your own secure online MyWellness account, which you can access directly on our website. You will also have access to a free 24/7 GP helpline for a year, which you can use whether you have a query about one of your results or just need some general health advice.
