What's included in this health

check?

Your Health Assessment includes:

This test analyses key inflammation biomarkers such as high sensitivity C-reactive protein (hsCRP), ferritin and grip strength. The test assesses your body’s inflammatory status and potential for longevity.
Your biochemistry profile analyses a number of important components of your blood, giving you a good overview of your vital organ function. The tests included are: liver function (AST, ALT, ALP, Gamma GT and bilirubin); kidney function (sodium, urea and creatinine); cholesterol (HDL, LDL, triglycerides, cholesterol ratio and total cholesterol); diabetes (HbA1c); uric acid for gout; bone health (calcium, corrected calcium and phosphate); and general markers (protein, iron, albumin, globulin and eGFR).
A body composition analysis provides a comprehensive breakdown of fat, bone, muscle, and water content within the body, offering valuable insights into key health indicators compared to just weight and BMI alone. By revealing important biometric results including visceral fat levels (fat stored around the organs), which poses significant risks for conditions such as diabetes and heart disease, this test enables proactive health assessment.
This test uses an arm cuff attached to a sphygmomanometer to give your blood pressure result. Systolic and diastolic measurements are taken, helping identify high or low blood pressure.

What happens at a health

check?

Our private health checks are designed for busy people who lead busy lives - they're quick, convenient and completely stress-free. Book your health check

Select the package of tests you'd like and choose a location, date and time that suits you. Our nationwide network of high-quality venues - with great parking and transport links - mean you'll usually find a convenient appointment within 20 minutes of your home or workplace.

Attend your appointment

Your Health Assessment Specialist, fully trained in phlebotomy, will take a blood sample, ask you a few questions about your lifestyle, and complete the non-blood tests (like blood pressure, for example). The process is quick and pain-free, normally taking under 30 minutes.

Your results are processed

Your blood sample and other readings are analysed by specialists in their field. We use the largest independent lab in the UK for blood testing, and a specialist cardiology centre for ECG trace analysis. We contact customers straight away with any critical results (determined by national guidance). Other abnormal results with red and amber flags will be in your report.

Receive your results report

You will receive an email notification as soon as your results are available in My Wellness. Processing times vary by test, with some results accessible on the dashboard in as little as three days. Each result is explained in plain English with no medical jargon and is given a flag of green, amber or red, so you can easily see any areas for concern.

I received various invitations to get checked out, but always wondered would it be worth it.... Then I just decided to do it, and honestly I couldn't be happier. The location was easy to get to. I got looked after very well, everything got explained in normal English and the details I received after were amazing. The book was really detailed and easy to understand. Will definitely recommend and do it again for myself.
