Heart Disease & Stroke Risk Test
Heart disease and stroke remain two of the biggest causes of serious illness in the UK, but many of the risks can be identified and managed early. Our Heart Disease & Stroke Risk Tests check for key markers linked to circulation, blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes and more. Results are explained in a clear digital report, with advice on next steps available through our GP services.
What you’ll get:
-
Checks for circulation problems (PAD), blood pressure, cholesterol and diabetes risk
-
Insight into metabolic syndrome and other risk factors for heart disease or stroke
-
Quick, non-invasive tests with results in as little as 3 days
-
Clear Results Report plus access to a 24/7 GP helpline (and GP consultation in some packages)
Why take a Heart Disease & Stroke Risk Test?
Identifying your risks early can make all the difference. Many heart and circulation issues develop silently over years. Our assessment highlights three major areas:
-
Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD): Fatty deposits build up inside arteries, restricting blood flow. PAD significantly increases your risk of stroke and coronary heart disease.
-
Blood Pressure: High blood pressure is a leading risk factor for stroke, heart attack, kidney disease, heart failure and dementia.
-
Metabolic Syndrome: A cluster of risk factors - high blood pressure, obesity and diabetes - that greatly increase your chances of cardiovascular disease.
