Get peace of mind by identifying cancer risks All health assessments can be upgraded to assess cancer risks of the stomach, bowel, cervix (for females) and prostate (for males), as well as a urine analysis, which checks for a range of conditions, including potential bladder cancer. Spotting the signs of cancers early can be vitally important – and in many instances, starting treatment for cancer early can make all the difference.

When looking at cancer tests, it’s important to recognise that no test can be 100% perfect. While our tests can highlight cancer risk, ‘false positives’ and ‘false negatives’ can also occur, particularly for prostate cancer risk and bowerl cancer risk tests – which is why these are only available for employees over the age of 40. We also include a 15-minute telephone consultation with a registered GP after all laboratory results have been analysed. The GP review can be used to discuss any worrying symptoms and if appropriate, a discussion can also take place in relation to any cancers that might run in the family.

What is included in this

package?

Please check below to see exactly what is included in this package:

This blood test looks for Helicobacter Pylori (H Pylori) antibodies in your blood. H Pylori is a common bacteria found in the human digestive tract, which causes chronic inflammation which can lead to stomach ulcers. A H Pylori infection increases your risk of developing stomach cancer, but once detected, the infection can usually be treated with antibiotics.
HPV is the name given to a group of viruses that affect your skin and the cells which line your body cavities. HPV is common, and around 8 in 10 people will be infected with the virus in their lifetime. Around 13 types of HPV can cause cancer, and almost all cases of cervical cancer are linked to HPV. You'll be given a self-collection vaginal swab kit to take a sample from the comfort of your home which you'll then post to our lab for analysis.
Your urinalysis looks at 11 separate components of your urine, including ketones, proteins, crystals and glucose. It can detect a number of common conditions which may have no symptoms in their early stages, including diabetes, kidney disease and urinary tract infections. Your urine sample will also be analysed for traces of blood, which can be a sign of bladder cancer. You'll be given a kit to take a sample of urine from the comfort of your home which you then send to our lab for analysis.
The Quantitative Faecal Immunochemical Test (qFIT) is an advanced form of bowel cancer screening used to identify tiny, invisible particles of blood in a sample of your stool, which can be an indication of bowel cancer or other diseases that affect the bowels. You'll be given a kit to take a sample of stool from the comfort of your home which you then send to our lab for analysis.
Your Prostate Cancer risk test examines the levels of Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) in your blood. Sometimes raised PSA levels can be a sign of prostate cancer, but in many cases it’s caused by a noncancerous condition, such as an enlarged or inflamed prostate. The PSA blood test is only recommended for men aged 40-79 due to the risk of false positive or negative results.
After you've received your results report, you can book your Private GP Consultation (which takes place over phone or webcam) at a time and date convenient to you. The GP will have a copy of your full results report, allowing you to talk through any areas of concern with a medical expert.
