Female Hormone Profiles
This comprehensive profile includes key assessments for Follicle-Stimulating Hormone (FSH), Oestrodiol, Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG), Testosterone, and Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH). The profile offers an insight of hormonal changes to help determine if you are experiencing perimenopause or the menopause. It can also assist in planning and adjusting hormone replacement therapy (HRT) tailored to your needs. The results should be considered alongside your symptoms and discussed with a GP to address any menopause-related concerns.
During your health assessment
Our private health checks are designed for busy people who lead busy lives - they're quick, convenient and completely stress-free. No invasive procedures, no embarrassing questions, no long travel times and no busy waiting rooms. After your health check, you'll have added peace of mind with unlimited access to a 24/7 GP helpline for an entire year. Some of our premium packages even include a follow-up GP Consultation via phone or webcam so you can talk through any health concerns or queries with a medical expert.
A few questions
You will be asked a series of questions about your health and lifestyle. Your answers are completely private and confidential and will only be used to ensure your test results are as accurate as possible.
Non-blood tests
Depending on the package you choose, you'll usually have a few painless and non-invasive non-blood tests. These may include a blood pressure check, an ECG test, a body composition analysis and a lung function test.
Blood test
A small sample of blood with be drawn from your inner arm with a needle. All our Health Assessment Specialists are trained Phlebotomists who have taken thousands of blood samples during their careers.
You're free to go!
Your appointment will usually only take 20-30 minutes. Within around 8 days*, you can view your test results securely online via MyWellness. You'll then receive a fully personalised hardcopy results report by post within 21 days. *If your assessment includes tests for Omega 3+6, PLAC, H Pylori, CDTL or Enhanced Liver Fibrosis it may take longer for you to access your results due to the nature of these test.
24/7 GP support for extra peace of mind
After your appointment, you'll have the added benefit of unlimited access to a 24/7 GP Helpline for an entire year. This gives you fast priority access to a GP for all manner of general health issues - from tummy upsets through to travel advice, the service even covers certain prescriptions. Some of our premium packages also include a Private GP Consultation, by phone or webcam, allowing you to discuss your full Results Report with a medical expert.
This was my 4th medical with Bluecrest. As usual, the process was efficient and friendly. I received my online report a few days later and a hard copy by post a couple of weeks later. I requested a chat with their GP, which was efficiently arranged and who answered my questions and made recommendations in a telephone call. Prevention is better than cure, so receiving information which highlights possible problems is the best approach to your health management.

At Bluecrest, we prioritise responsible health assessment practices. Our Chief Medical Officer provides recommendations that guide us in applying certain exclusions, restrictions, and advice. This ensures that our services and specific tests align with good customer care, appropriateness, and the minimisation of unnecessary worry for our customers and clients. Our Chief Medical Officer also manages test availability and the removal of tests, constantly staying updated with evolving medical opinion and knowledge.
