Convenience: Flexible health assessments for a healthier, happier workforce

Last updated: 24 October 2025

Empower your employees with accessible, personalised health checks – without disrupting your business operations.

In today’s work environment, supporting employee wellbeing isn’t just a perk but rather a strategic advantage. Bluecrest’s flexible health assessment options make it easier than ever to prioritise workforce health without compromising productivity.

With Bluecrest having the UKs largest health assessment network, your employees will be able to find an appointment at one of our 14,000 convenient in-clinic locations at a time to suit their busy home and work schedules.

The business case for convenience

Flexibility is important to not only us but also our clients because it ensures:

  • Reduced disruption to work schedules

  • Increased participation rates

  • Improved employee satisfaction and retention

  • Alignment with hybrid and remote working models

In the UK and ROI, our colleagues can be office based, completely remote, or somewhere in between, so it made sense for them to be able to book their own appointments at Bluecrest Wellness clinics – which are all over the UK and ROI. - Specsavers

What flexibility does Bluecrest provide?

We understand that life gets busy - this is why we have made it easier than ever to prioritise the health of your workforce with:

  • On-site health assessments – For businesses with more than 10 employees, you can opt to bring the health assessments to your workplace with our handy on-site assessment days.

  • Nationwide clinics – we have a network of 14,000 clinics within the UK and Ireland meaning your whole workforce, no matter their location, will be able to access the benefits of a health assessment at a clinic within 20 minutes of their work or home.

  • Extended hours – we know that it can be hard to fit in appointments in the workday, this is why we have extended hours offering appointments between 8am-8pm so that appointments can be fitted in around your employees' busy schedules.

  • Weekend appointments – we understand that not everyone has time during the work week to find time for personal appointments, that’s why our clinics are also open for weekend appointments too.

  • Packages – we have a variety of packages available meaning there is something to suit every budget and need with optional add-ons such as our Early Cancer Add-on.

Real world impact

One of our clients, JTI, employs hundreds of people in offices and field teams across the UK. Taking care of their people is a priority, and Bluecrest Wellness checks are a valued part of the package.

Reward Advisor at JTI, Becca Kitchen explains: “For us the equation is simple – the more we support the health and wellbeing of our people, the better our business is. It’s vital we attract and retain brilliant people and make JTI one of the best places to work in the UK. Health and wellbeing are an important part of our rewards package”

JTI employees can book an appointment at a clinic near to them, but Bluecrest Wellness have also run health assessment days on site – making it even easier and more convenient for people to fit it in.

The tests include blood readings for a wide range of health indicators including heart disease and stroke assessment, blood health, cholesterol and diabetes risk.

Becca continues: “Having Bluecrest Wellness come out to us just makes it really simple and convenient for people to take part and we get really good feedback from an employee experience perspective."

“In our staff satisfaction surveys, it’s consistently one of the **top-rated benefits **and it gives people great peace of mind. From a corporate perspective, it also gives us data in the form of company-wide health reports which, alongside data from our other health providers, has informed our health and wellbeing strategy over the last three years.”

“We’d absolutely recommend Bluecrest Wellness to other businesses which is why we’ve now worked with them for several years. We’ve found the key is in communications, encouraging sign-up and making sure employees know what it’s all about.”
